This traditional looking holiday light set is approved for indoor or outdoor use. The string of lights is 24 feet long with 70 multi-colored LED lights. I think that these lights use about 4 watts / hour so I let my child decorate her room with them and don't worry if she forgets to turn them off.

Believe it or not, I couldn't find these locally. The stores don't stock many of them and they sell out quickly. After visiting three stores to no avail I ordered these. They came in about a week, I plugged them in, and they all worked. No problems. They looked better on the tree than the old miniature lights, they don't get hot, and they use less electricity.

I went LED at a premium price last year with the promise of long life LED's and energy savings. This year I tossed about half of the sets I purchased because of bulb failure. I'm going back (I didn't trash those old bulb sets) to good old and brighter screw in bulbs that have proved the test of time.

I bought these for a sci fi convention room party in September. Really bright lights and a good size. I will probably buy more, because as long as the strand was, It wasn't long enough to circle a medium sized hotel room. Two more would do it. Couldn't beat the price!
