Great looking and love when they work. Stars fill with water when it rains, and this is the forth set, (in two years) I had to replace because of bad transformers. also the bulb contacts have incompatible metal compared to the socket metal(which rusts).
If I could return them, without a big hassle I'd continue to use them, but I think this is the last year I'll put them up, because of the high price and the bad design. (also Amazons return policy)

I wasn't going to spend a cent on Christmas lights for the front of the house this year but after seeing these I changed my mind. A house will sure stand apart from all other houses after you use these lights... I just purchased 4 sets... (this expense was not on my budget but it will sure be worth it) I'm sure somebody will stop to check my house up close after using these. [Just like I did when I saw them on somebody's else house!

I bought one stand to see if they would work out. I was reluctant because of the lack of product photos and the high price. I really wanted icicle LED lights, and was completely blown away with how bright these were. I plugged the strand into a watt meter and they were only 5W. Not too bad for how much light they produce. So, I bought 4 more stands to mostly cover the face of my house. You can stretch these a bit, but I'd stick with the 9 foot lighted length per strand. I managed to cover an area above two of my bedrooms with 3 strands nicely, and I used two strands stretched out to almost cover above my garage. I should have used three, but at $30 a strand it gets expensive quick. With all five strands running it came in at 25-26W. These are something you could run 24/7 guilt free.
