The LightKeeper PRO is great! The person who invented it should get the Nobel Peace prize for bringing tranquility to what is always a very frustrating experience. We spent 3 days trying to find the "bad" bulbs in our exterior icicle lights. Then just by chance, we found out about the LightKeepPRO on an artificial Christmas tree website. We ordered it from Amazon and got it in 1 day using Amazon Prime free shipping! In a matter of minutes, we found (and repaired!) the remaining burned-out or corroded bulbs. (Corroded bulbs, not burned out ones, are usually the problem - only the PRO tool has this repair feature.) We are recommending it to all our friends by word-of-mouth, and fellow club members via a newsletter.

I built a Christmas sign with over 200 holes to put Christmas lights into and spell out NOEL. After a few minutes 50 of the lights stopped working even though a shunt is supposed to carry electricity around the burned out bulb. I ordered this product and tried the clicker portion that is supposed to make the shunt work. The 1st set of 50 burned out bulbs it didn't work, but on the 2nd set it did. It also has a built in "find live electricity" gadget and I used that on the 1st set to find out where the shunt that didn't work was where I was able to replace the non working bulb and get the 1st 50 working again. I have also used the built in bulb tester to check that the replacement bulbs work. All in all it works. Because I am very familiar with electricty I had another problem where I must have pulled on the wire too hard and seperated the wire from the bulb. I used the tester to find the bad bulb base and cut off the base and taped it up thus saving the set of 50 bulbs.

I was skeptical, but I had a favorite light set that just quit working, and I'd already tried replacing every bulb. I almost threw the lights out, but decided to give this a try. It also fixed a halloween set that quit last year that I wasn't ready to give up on.

I was surprised at how good this works. Some strands of lights it fixed right away and others it took a little more work. I do like this Lightkeeper Pro!
